I’m Gage—a self-taught guitarist from High Level who has spent years learning by listening, experimenting, and refusing to stop at “good enough.”
My playing moves between flamenco, neo-classical guitar, rock, metal, and free improvisation. That mix shapes how I teach: understand the mechanics, train your ear, and then turn the idea into music you actually care about.
Lessons are direct, patient, and built for the person in front of me. No one-size-fits-all program. No pretending progress happens overnight. Just focused work and the excitement of hearing yourself get better.

Bring your guitar, a phone or computer with a camera, and a reliable internet connection. The lesson stays personal and follows the same approach as meeting in High Level.

Before we start.
I’ve never played guitar. Can I still take lessons?+
Absolutely. Complete beginners are welcome. We can start with how to hold the guitar, tune it, make your first clear sounds, and build a comfortable practice routine.
Do I need to know how to read music?+
No. Lessons can use demonstrations, chord diagrams, tablature, listening, and practical playing. Music reading is something we can explore if it supports your goals.
Are online lessons good for beginners?+
Yes. A camera lets Gage see your hands and posture, while screen-to-screen demonstrations make it easy to follow one step at a time.
When can I schedule a lesson?+
Lessons are available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, with preferred hours from 12 PM to 8 PM. Later times may be possible by request when needed.
How do the lesson packages work?+
Choose four 30-minute or four 60-minute lessons at the reduced package price, then arrange your lesson days directly with Gage.

Stuck is useful information.
A missed chord, tense picking hand, confusing scale, or practice slump tells us what your next lesson should solve. The course adapts around that signal so each step has a reason.
